PSARA-Accredited Training & Orientation
Before an AAIRA security officer reports to your premises, they must pass 160 hours of intense physical drills, classroom simulations, fire safety tests, and customer interface training.
The Foundation of Every AAIRA Guard: Discipline
Under the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005, training is not optional — it is a statutory prerequisite. AAIRA operates accredited training facilities supervised by former Indian Army Drill Instructors and Police Officers.
Our curriculum balances physical conditioning with psychological readiness, teaching guards how to de-escalate verbal confrontations, handle unruly crowds, spot suspicious anomalies, and execute instant emergency evacuations.
The 6 Core Training Pillars
Every security officer must achieve certification across these six essential operational disciplines.
1. Drill, Marching & Saluting
Impeccable uniform grooming, body posture, salute protocol for senior leadership, and commanding gate presence that projects authority.
2. Fire Fighting & Evacuation
Hands-on operation of fire extinguishers (CO2, DCP, Foam), yard hydrant hose rolling, smoke chamber navigation, and building evacuation marshaling.
3. First Aid & CPR Life Support
Certified medical response: cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), treating severe bleedings, burn management, and handling epileptic or cardiac emergencies.
4. Unarmed Combat & Baton Tactics
Non-lethal self-defense maneuvers, lathi/baton drills, neutralizing aggressive intruders, and disarming weapons without causing collateral injury.
5. Electronic Security & Devices
Operation of HHMD frisking wands, Door Frame Metal Detectors, Under Vehicle Inspection Mirrors, boom barriers, and Visitor Management Apps.
6. Customer Etiquette & Soft Skills
Courteous speech, active listening, handling difficult visitors calmly, telephone etiquette, and maintaining clean entry logs with zero friction.
Firearms Safety & Armed Escort Drills
For armed sentries, bank guards, and personal security officers (PSOs), AAIRA enforces rigorous gun-handling certification. All weapons deployed are legally licensed under the Indian Arms Act, and personnel undergo periodic firing range drills.
- Weapon cleaning, breakdown, and chamber clearance inspections
- Safe trigger discipline and non-engagement zones
- Annual firing range requalification scores audited by district magistrate records
